how do i get more burrito for my money?
If you're at Chipotle, just ask for extra rice. Here's why it works:
If you're at Chipotle, just ask for extra rice.
See, rice sets the tone for the whole burrito. You get extra rice and then what, they’re going to give you a tiny amount of beans?
No.
They give you extra beans so the proportions match.
Same with:
-Chicken
-Pico
-Corn
-Sour cream
-Cheese
By asking for extra rice (which basically costs Chipotle nothing so they add like 30% more) you end up with about 10% extra of everything else without having to ask for it. At the end you’ve got a four pound monstrosity that breaks through the initial tortilla wrap. This is a pretty cool hack so I actually did the math using Chipotle's nutrition calculator and here's how it all works out.
Assumptions:
1. No narcs behind the counter. Asking for more rice leads to 10% more of each individual ingredient.
2. The burrito ends up being so humongous that it has to be double wrapped.
3. A burrito costs about 10 bucks and you get water to drink
I have ordered the same thing for the last 15 years so I'll use that as my benchmark burrito and we'll tally things up from there:
Each dollar buys you 38% more burrito! 🤯
This probably applies to other things in life too. Ask for a little more of something free and people will give you more of things they value but I’m not here for that nonsense.
